One window is all I need

To light up my lonely world.

 

The window allows

The light from outside to flood in.

Inside, it covers my face,

And leaves my body warm.

 

I gives me a view port,

Allowing me to see

The world that passes me by,

People walking by freely.

 

It makes me feel

Close

To the people who inhabit

The forbidden outside world.

 

A man once saw me

Staring

And drew close.

I could feel the warmth of his presence.
