One Place Called Earth

Sweet memories
All from one place
The place that holds
Love, beauty, laughter and smiles
As well as
Heartbreak, sadness, tears and frowns
The place more than seven billion humans
Call home
The place that is there
When we fall
The place that is there
When we fly...
So where are we
When Earth is falling?
Where are we
When Earth needs us?
We are there with our torches
Burning the thing we need the most
Killing the thing that has always been there
Is this how we treat
What makes us complete?
Try to find a place
Better than the one
Who has been there
From birth to death
Of everyone
So I plead to you
Before Earth bleeds from you
Turn off your touch
And hold up your sign
For the one place called Earth
