Some say that the pen is mightier than the sword.
In today's society is this statement still true? Or has it grown bored.
Sweat dripping from his hands with a lot of drive and fight.
A 20-year old man has three passion: Jesus, sports, and the ability to write.
So why does he write? What's the use?
His pen bleeds for his city and to him there is no excuse.
But why this city? What makes it so important?
He wants to restore the beauty from all the negativity and things distorted.
His city is full of violence and neglect.
His motivation is with every drip of ink from his pen, he can one day provide the city and his family with respect.
Why does he write? He writes for the young men.
Some of them in his family have not been successful, the torch falls on him.
Why does he write? He writes for his dreams.
Since he was two years old, he envisioned everything.
From where his life was to what it is now?
The pen cries out, can I get a break? When? How?
Once again for him there is no excuse.
His goal is to touch hs city and the pen is his only use.
All eyes on him now as he makes his move.
The city will rejoice with a win, immediate family members praying that he doesn't lose.
Why does he write? For his uncles and cousins.
They tell him, if I could go back in time I would be just like you doing positive things or something.
Why does he write? He writes for his mom.
She is the strongest member in his family, but she can't do it alone.
Why does he write? He writes for himself.
To prove that he has what it takes to be the best, writing is his passion and to him this scholarship means more than wealth.
Why does he write? He writes for his dad.
He wants him to the life that he didn't have.
He writes for this scholarship, this is very true.
He knows that he can make it in college, but financially everyone needs help too.
Why does he write? He writes for Christ.
All things work together for the good of those who love him every day not just once or twice.
