One night is enough

Hebrews 13:5 New English Translation (NET Bible)Your conduct must be free from the love of money and you must be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you and I will never abandon you.”  One night is enough ... welcome daylight

Came to a hotel in a bad part of town

is this where I want to be?

Hundreds of dollars fly out the door

to just being spent on me.

Is it worth it ... who can tell?

I know that crime is here.

This morning someone broke into a car

of some fellows who were here with me.

Looking at the room it seems all right

some old furniture and a desk.

A plain old bed and a common pot

just a place to get some rest.

I decided to stay in this place.

Why I really don’t know?

So I could walk to a conference

and feel safe when on the go?
