One Nation

One nation –

We are here.

We have been divided.

We have been shoved into places and boxes and labels that don’t belong to us.

Hate has broken what we have been told is so sacred about our land.

We’ve made this mistake before though

We have allowed hate to be a mask for fear, chosen security over love and liberty

We cannot allow this to happen again.

We have to stop this in its tracks before we are turned upside down and hate is normalized because hate is not normal.

We stand here and look to God and we say UNITE US

Let us scream and yell until we are united

One with the people who have made us who we are

Swimming in pools of diversity

Leaping through flower fields of grace and grace and grace

We pour down grace just as we have received it

The proclamation is this:

We are one nation under God.

And God is love.

One nation, under love. Indivisible. With liberty  and justice for all.
