One Job May Change My Life

One job may change my life you say,

one has changed my life I know

It's just a small farm and home store,

though most days it feels like a comedy show

Before my job I felt so unwanted,

I'd rather be tired and overworked

Because before my job,

I was suicidal and overlooked

My job changed my life,

they told me they wanted me now

My job saved my life,

they said they needed me now

My job gives me friends and another family,

they're all so nice and honest

Even the mean guy smiles and tells me I'm wanted,

even the manager is so modest

They got me to realize I'm no mistake,

I just needed to find the right place

So when college comes I'll have them to thank,

they all got me to my happy state
