One day ... at times

Matthew 8:24-26 New English Translation (NET Bible)

24 And a great storm developed on the sea so that the waves began to swamp the boat. But he was asleep. 25 So they came and woke him up saying, “Lord, save us! We are about to die!” 26 But he said to them, “Why are you cowardly, you people of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was dead calm.

One day

Storms of water always driven by wind - the force of His Name

Storms of fire are one day given - will be roaring just the same

“Not by water but by fire” - whispers a voice from the past

The only One Who’s not for hire - will judgment bring at last

There will be no way of escaping - as all roads will lead to disaster

Only the saved will be taken – up high to meet their Master

Prevention will not kill the storm - for it will roar constantly

For in a fallen world is the norm - to shake the house drastically

The answer lays in the foundation - in Whose Hand you’re kept

Under whose Wings you’ve protection - into Whose Heart you fled
