One Day
I dream a world where
people won’t constantly stare.
My face is my face,
my hair is my hair.
I dream a world that
people can stop and chat.
Without worrying about being laughed at.
I dream a world when
it doesn't matter thick or thin,
and everyone walks with a grin.
I dream a world where
everything is fair.
No one has to say beware.
No person will live in despair,
and we can be comfortable anywhere.
I dream a world where…
and maybe one day i’ll get there.
