One Broken Road

As  men we are viewed less
As equals we are given less
As humans we are viewed like animals
As a civilized community we are viewed wild
As people we arise from the messy hitch is given
The mess that we use to build a better road

Our rights are taken
Our views misplaced
Our lives destroyed
Our depiction mistaken
For they have already painted it on
the cement road

We are white as a dove
But without anyones care we shall parish
Like a bug on a road

We are together feeling one soul
Contribute for one goal
We work in a union to help the broken road

Innocents persecuted
Some left by the side
Because of the ones that have lied
Expressionless and limp
Some with evidence helping their case
But the rich think no farther and make haste
The judge slams his hammer
Finishing the case
Down this broken road a poor man must face

Life is like a road we can choose many pathways
Some pathways people cannot survive
Due to the voices covered by lies
Lies accepted by the hive
