The One Boy I Can't Live Without

Tears have come from eyes for him,

that can be simply said.

I can’t remember a time when he wasn’t there,

a time when I was truly completely alone.

He stands beside me now, as more than he was in the start.

He stands beside me now not just as my best friend,

but as my lover.

He stands beside me now, as I fall onto this island.

A barren wasteland.

I look to him, for he is my guidance.

He would never lead me astray.

He is my blanket as night falls, as the cold breeze comes.

He is my shelter, as the storm rages on.

He is my protector, as the tree branches fall.

He is my therapist, as the tears stream down my face.

He is my everything, as he always has been.

For five years, he stood silently beside me as I suffered.

Being a silent reassurer as I cried,

being a supporter when I couldn’t see it.

He is my everything, he is my all.

He pulls me into his arms as I cry,

his hand squeezing my own until the tears stop.

He is my everything, my all.

He watches over me from afar. He is all I truly need,

to keep myself from being truly completely alone.
