old rug

Oh Happy Day

Has come again

For you

Cleaning day

What's on the list of excess?

Oh!

A Worn Rug

Destroyed by your claws

This poor old Mat

You told it that

You'd keep it new

And you'd stay true

But I guess you just forgot

It outlived your use

and your abuse

And now,

You've got a new one

To do the same.
