Old Loves Embrace

Old Loves Embrace

Oh love, you have once open your arms to me
you had welcomed me into love embrace
But with time it all came down like rain
deep pains cut way to deep
what was became not enough
love had slipped through the fingers of time
what was left of us only became memories
darkness open the doors to sadness
that brings on so much madness
I never looked back
to see if love was still staring at me
because this pain cut too deep for me
I didn't watch where my own feet walked
because it was way to dark
I feel the days that lay ahead of me
I so very much dread to see
If I only kept the Key
To what was once for me
Love had once was in my arms
that had welcomed me home
that welcomed me in peace and safety
But with time Love started acting strange
words of hast that made the heart break
that shattered or loving home
at time I had to scoffed with my heart
while my mind telling me
what once was
is no longer with me
so I must set it free
I remained there in that patch of light
before old love cast his spell on me
and all I can see is darkness always at my feet
putting fear in my mind most of the time
given me a world of broken dreams
Yes, I once known love
but then it all was a game of yesterdays
Now old love gave me his cold embrace of darkness
a place that holds no warmth or Love
but give agony and lots of rain.
