Oileán Thoraí (Tory Island)

It rains a lot there. Yet the weather makes you feel Lucky. Optimistic. Everything looks like water colors. Paint palettes balance blues and hues of green and As it seems… that place there is an art gallery. I saw God’s hand in Ireland, on Tory Island. How He Penciled a line around where the sky and the ocean Kiss. I stood at the top of a cliff and saw the shape of This earth is by no means a coincidence. Cornerless, Without gaps, all inclusive. This globe looks like love. Looks like a hug. And it feels so close to heaven, just a Poke through the sky away. The sun peeking in Throughout the day. Father your works are good. I saw the Potter’s hand in Ireland, on Tory Island. He rolled this planet in his palm, colored in the countries. And though 3,348 miles from my own red white & blue July 4th I celebrated my independence. Ascended From parental protection royalty has let me fly. I Celebrate self-sovereignty. No fireworks for me. Juneteeth was three weeks ago we already did that. Plus I was set free day three after Calvary. The sun rises Each morning to reminisce. I’m talking Independence. Nineteen. A world away basking in the Creator’s artistry. Standing on a cliff at the edge of my teenage years. And though since sixteen been saying “Oh, I’m grown” I’m can be on my own now. Got a little more know-how. How amazing to look back and see how far I’ve come. Traveling is a maturing sugar that makes where I’m from A little sweeter. I wish I could take this place back to my Home base. I saw the Creator’s hand in Ireland, on Tory Island. An art gallery where I found my independence.
