Oh Baltimore

Oh brother, my brother

Be safe.

Always be in the right place

At the right time

Make one wrong move

And it might be your last time.

Be cautious of every step you take

And every move you make.

Watch your back

And always be prepared for an attack

‘Cuz death don’t take no breaks

And ain’t no pain stronger the heartbreak

That occurs when a mother has lost her son

And knowing that this war has just begun

I tell my brother to

Be patient,

Wait for the right words to day

And the right way to say them

Make sure to be kind

And always keep in mind

That your life will always be on the line

Because they’ll waste no time making an example out of you.

So oh brother, my brother

Beware,

For your innocence will always be guilty of something.

Your silence is important,

Your words are powerful.

So be careful...
