Offenses

They say they want our personality.

They'll love it, whatever it is.

Just make sure you're not white.

That means you hate blacks.

Oh and make sure you're not Catholic.

You probably want to kill all the Muslims.

That's not really your personality,

But you know it defines you.

Nobody's different.

We're all the same under the skin.

But if you are kind, you're odd.

And if you have more than 3 siblings,

That's weird.

Don't you dare say you don't support something.

That's called prejudice.

But make sure you support others' causes.

Cause if you don't, that's prejudice.

I'll tell you what I think if you ask me.

Even if you don't, I probably will.

Why should one group get to speak their mind,

With no fear of offending someone,

While another group can't say a single word,

Because for them to speak is offensive.

I'm not denouncing anyone.

Cause honestly, we all do it.

But can we focus less on shutting others up because they don't agree

And work more on seeing all perspectives?
