Ode to Time

Oh how you move away
Rushing through all my years
Yet standing still on a summer's day
Young was I when I began to change
Moving state to state and losing friends
All my mistakes I made in teenage
Years without looking back
I have learned to be steadfast
Strong but flexible in life's acrobatic act
To move away but remain the same
