Ode to Latte

Oh, Latte

Your mother's lips are cherry red today,

and the warm aroma of coffee invites me to stay.

I would like my ambition to visit again

So it can help me decide what to do with this pen

So I ask for a latte, One with white chocolate syrup

Coffee, milk and Cream and please stir them up

For me you change personalities depending on my mood.

I get through my day by knowing I’ll get to hold you soon.

A silver spoon chimes and it makes a lovely sound

There are smiling faces all around.

Americano, cappuccino, or cold brew

Everyone has a favorite to choose

But today the sun is hiding

So im glad this coffee shop is providing

My favorite drink, hold the ice

pour the gold, I won’t think twice
