Ode to the Civil Rights

Civil rights?
Are we still fighting or can this war finally end
Fighting the man or fighting each other?
Not sure if to run from everyone or scream to the world who I am
Be true to your race, your identity
Don't let them take you down
Be strong, have the strength of Rosa Parks
the fluid speech of MLK
End this civil rights war, don't it end us
