To be different, 

Is to be labeled a freak, 

 No one can understand that you’re just unique. 

They are trying to make you feel ashamed 

When in reality it is them who should feel the shame. 

All humans on this planet are different; 

No two are alike just like snowflakes, 

Yet we are all created equal no matter the kink. 

Some people just don’t get this and try to be fake. 

Which leads all the youth to think they’re something to make. 

That the only way to make it in this world is to be artificial and fake. 

That it is their civic duty to go around spreading hate. 

 

Well I “hate” to break it to you fols, but that is not the case. 

We were put on this earth to do good and give chase. 

To spread love, joy harmony, and peace 

And to say that it’s okay to go at your own pace. 

So many of us are caught up in life’s grueling haste. 

When really we just need to stop and think. 

Smell the roses before they are all gone in a blink. 

Because whether we like it or not we are all linked. 

 

Love thy neighbor is what we are all told,

But a lot of us forget that it’s supposed to be in bold. 

Some say that this rule is nothing but gold, 

I say that most of us just ignore it because it is old. 

Stop and think before you post, 

You’ll never know who’s life you just saved by being a good host.
