ocean eyes

i’d go to the ends of the earth to melt into those hazy oceans you harbour,

your bitter scent lingers on my fraying cotton cuffs,

you’re just as addictive as the chalk i inhale and i’m desperate for you.

grind you down and roll you up,

heat you up on rusty silverware and inject you straight into my collapsing veins,

pose you between my chapped lips.

inhale your love and feel that smokey distraction seep into my dirty lungs.

i need you.
