Numbered days

Ecclesiastes 12:1 New English Translation (NET Bible)

Fear God Now Because Old Age and Death Come Quickly

12 So remember your Creator in the days of your youth—
before the difficult days come,
and the years draw near when you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”;

Youth

Am I younger than appears and my days numbered now?

Carrying my hopes and fears in helping me to get by somehow.

Where does age come into play as it affects just the flesh and bones?

Was I not born just yesterday and every day now seems recloned?

One day I will live forever but I think that day to be already here

It started somehow before never and why I enjoy it that’s not clear.

Maybe when the ties we sever and try to ensure that Christ is near

We will join forever as in unison we’re traveling without any fear.
