Nothing is Stillness

Mon, 12/28/2015 - 16:06 -- DaLaRi

the spaces between buildings feel like commas

if you’re not a writer bc you don’t think of writing like

a living, try living like a writing

try living like the world is commas, lines, and

semicolons,

try hearing tetrameter in your steps and iambs,

breaths and speeches, trips and writing, skips and

starting, breath and crying and always, rattling apart

because the commas shake you off and apart at the

seams, always tapping, tapping, falling

because tapping isn’t good enough when you’re

shaking your world apart like a manic vibrating energy

unable to start, unable to bend, not stopping, just

GOING and going and going and going, not stopping

'til it’s all gone

the spaces between buildings feel like commas

shakespeare feels like lungs of clean air

nothing is stillness, nothing is breathing
