I don't know how i came to be.

When a deer approaches...

I am suddenly a deer.

I hear the breaking of twigs,

the whoosh of the leaves stirring.

I watch the deer an alarm for impending hell.

I spot a lion and dart away with my new acquaintance.

Once I'm a safe ways away, I am suddenly a lioness

and approach the lion.

I smell the musk of the lion.

I see the blood on his muzzle,

and partake in the meal,

while listening to the deer, gurgling and gasping for air

helpless, soon lifeless.

Suddenly I am alone...

and I disappear.
