Not Fake

Location

Maybe I plaster a smile on my face to please

The same pretty smile you see dancing across my Instagram feed

You can question what's lurking in my psyche

But I am not fake

I keep on smiling to gain your trust in me

You can confide in me like your peronal blogging diary

I'll take your secrets and put them under lock and key

You will not call me fake

I don't express my thoughts as much as you please

I hold any judgements to avoid enemies

Maybe avoiding conflict is a useless remedy

But I am not fake

Behind my smile holds traits and secrets a plenty

Indecisive, apprehensive, and a love of listening

I'll listen to anyone who needs to relieve

I am not fake
