Not cracked but broken

Proverbs 18:14New King James Version

14 The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness,

But who can bear a broken spirit?

Spiritual sickness, what a thought, and who can recognize?

What’s the symptom, what’s the cure, which type of prescription?

Who’s the doctor now to turn to or what if you don’t feel sick?

All the questions, just one answer, it seems just a simple donation

If it’s broken; I can feel it, and it takes all my attention

Nothing else matters then, but that what fell apart

I know for sure I’m helpless and gone is all pretention

I hunger to be healed from the desire’s core in the heart
