The moon beams through a sliver in the clouds,
reminding me of the light in your eyes
You are the greatest affliction.

Trying to understand your thoughts
is like running through a dark alley
without a ray of light.
I am lost.

Why does it always feel
as if a storm is passing through my mind?
Like my world is in rewind.

My thoughts transfuse
like a stream of blood.
I used to feel invincible
Now I'm painted blue

I'm withered and worn
in a terrible manner
I clench my teeth and hide my sorrow
in the uttermost despair
