I write this as I sit awake

Staring at the darkness

Of my big empty room

My pointless heavy room

So blessed I am

I know it too

The fancy new Tesla

The new Lululemon clothes

So why do you cry

So spoiled you are

How lucky and blessed

How fortunate and proud

I have my own opinions

Of politics and race

But when it all comes

Crashing down

The expectations to succeed

The disappointment when you fail

The hours spent studying

For a test no one else cared

I'm lucky and I'm priveleged

Fortunate and proud

But when it comes to what I want

It all just gets to loud
