No-one Cares

The effort was just

Result assured

They were there for me, didn't know I was a nut

all would have understood

250 I took, it went on so long

I'll teach them all

They did't care if it was near dawn

Not much that night I recall

I wanted out, and no one cared

So positive was I, life did not love me

No question I was unprepared

They arose from under the sea

I wanted the dark alley, alone in the same way I lived

But they showed me my lost belief

The friend knowing troubled

A brave phone call she placed

The spouse searching

A second brave phone call, she rang

A police dispatch accepting and acting

The police scanning and searching

A town with 250, 000, be real

Call it miracle, call it coincidence

The EMT rushing me to a  chance

The ER saving my life.. doctors, nurses and more

So sure...... so wrong
