No More "Me"

So here's the thing-

We're all on earth.

Everyone is

from the moment of birth.

And while we're here,

our goal should be

to love others

instead of loving "me".

Do you realize

that there are more

slaves in this world

than there's ever been before?

Not only that,

it happens here.

There are many

girls that live in deep fear.

Fear for their lives

due to the pain

from the abuse,

and it drives them insane.

This has a name,

a name that wounds.

Sex trafficking,

the end needs to be soon.

These girls are forced

into brothels

that abuse them

and treat them so awful.

They are beaten

and raped daily,

and have no hope,

which drives my heart crazy.

And another

fact that hurts me

is that only

one percent will ever see

Rescue from this.

Where is the hope?

None seem able

to hold on to their rope.

No one deserves

to be treated

so poor. They won't

be lost or defeated.

I'll break this dark,

and bring in light

by showing love

with all of my might.

Because here's the thing-

we're all on this earth.

Everyone is

from the moment of birth.

And while we're here,

our goal should be

to love others

instead of loving "me".
