I needed you to be

The hero, a role model, everything to me

To push me, love me

Show me how to be a man.

To give that certain love only a dad can.

Didnt hit me until now

That I needed a father.

But to come to you now

I wouldnt even bother.

To deal with you leaving was even harder

All you taught me was the kind of man to never be

The kind who disappoints and leaves his entire family

I cry sometime, because your not with me, that's true

I look for some answers that can only come from you

But what else am I really posed to do?

Just sit around and wait for you to actually come through?

In a way

You missed out on something special you coulda had

Father's day cards, cofee mugs that said "World's Best Dad"

But when things got too heavy, you decided to leave

Leaving ya baby mama, and your baby to grieve

To grow up lonely, in search of a father, a dad, a man

You didnt think about nun
