No hammer in my hand.

See the hammer in my hand,

There is no lightning to command,

I am a man and not immortal,

Riding legends through a portal,

To all the places I'll never see,

Be all the things I'll never be,

There is no thunder in my wake,

But many things I still can break,

Like reputations through and through,

And barriers between us two,

Like giants of the darker kind,

Haunting the edges of my mind,

I'll fight like mad just to stay sane,

I'm no god so I'll be the bane,

The bane of every man-made hell,

That'll hear me when I yell,

To the children trapped within that place,

I'll show you all an honest face,

When you see the hammer in my hand,

That there is no lightning in my hand,

I am a man and not immortal,

But I ask you to come through this portal,

To see a life you deserve to see,

And be the person you're meant to be,

It's a request and not a demand,

Just trust me and take my hand.
