Nights of nobody

Mon, 07/11/2016 - 15:52 -- nh

Today I am here, cold-dark city nights

Not very cold, not very dark, not many nights

Dream of thousands running from hunger

But today I am here, running from my cold-dark city nights

Where is my life? Did I have a life?

Is pain, suffering, or hate part of life?

Where is my past? Why did you run from your past?

But now you are here, no more cold-dark city nights

Is a new city enough? Is this new life better?

Where did you leave your past?

Why do you say don’t have memories?

Why do you live tangled in the aroma of the cold nights?

How much pain? How much suffering? How much hate?

How much more?

No more.

No present, no future.

Past, memories, pain, suffering, hate, cold-dark city nights.
