Night

The sun sleeps

And grey weaved

Cotton balls envelope

The moons shine

Glimmers of eyes peak through

And smiles streak the sky

Everything is dueling under

A black cloak

Silenced by the beauty

And wonder

Conscience is muted by the thoughts beyond

Troubling some, delighting others

Curled in the warmth of sleep

Nothing steers

And the world quiets the burning

Passion

Within the souls of all

So we can forget the wrongs

And enjoy the rights of peace.
