It made my stomach wretch to see you together
Your ravished lips pressed against her
Lungs pining for her siren's breath
Fingers stroking her paper skin, like a beggar
Fondles a dropped coin, greedy
Worship glinting pitiful in his eyes- your eyes

Did you think I wouldn't smell her on you?
With her pungent perfume clung to your skin
Like burs, their hooks sunk in triumphantly
A sneer on her face, she relished in your capture
Charmed by her flute, you were a snake
You left me for her;
Coughing and wheezing an excuse
And a (not sorry enough to stop) goodbye
