I wake up grateful everyday because i wake up next to you.

The love i feel for you astounds me still, daily the depth that it grew.

 

Each time i happen to think of you i find a smile on my face

For when i think of where it is i best like to be, i realize that next to you is my very favorite place.

 

Sitting, standing, doing errands and chores it doesn't matter

For when your baking a cake you always need some batter.

 

Some days i think that its amazing that we work with our differences

But what is truely amazing is all the work that we do with our differences.

 

We may not enjoy the same things but we enjoy eachother

And so then we learn to enjoy things for one another.

 

We both have changed for the better since the day we met 

So what the future holds i don't know just yet.

 

With you i feel no need to rush since slowly we do achieve

Building our lives and future strong our lives together we weave.

 

You drive me crazy and you are a part of every emotion

How real we are is part of the strength of my devotion.

 

You push me to be more and support me all the way

Even when you disagree you still meet me halfway.

 

We fight, we argue, then we make up and reconcile

Whether by jokes, dancing or silly faces we always end it with a smile.

 

You have brought so much positivity and growth into my life

I  hope to do the same and one day to deserve the title of wife.
