Newspaper swell

Location

Anticipation sets in now that its Tuesday morning.
Forecast expects turbulent headlines.
Over 60 stacks of The Reporter flood into the newsroom.
Peers, writers, and delivery men all lend themselves to help;
like synchronized swimmers, we drown in our work and return to the surface.
Racks are filled, staff is aware and our printed words are distributed until next issue.
Even if that means Extra! Extra! stacks come in,
our filthy hands are proof of the routine.
