A New Day

Location

Leaving the comfort of my home after a nice long rest

Waking up to experience the unknown of a new day.

I gave a big sigh,

To take in the beautiful air of a beautiful day.

But the sweet moment was too good too last.

The sky began to turn gray

The trees shivered so their leaves fell off.

The spine curling shiver as if weather was breathing down my neck.

The birds began to fly south away from the gray skies that brought them fear.

Of what was yet to happen on this new day.

The sky grew gray and gloomy.

But then I realize the scent of the sweet morning coffee was growing stronger.

To my surprise on the unknowns of this band new day

I would be welcoming the gray skies and cool breezes of fall.
