Never Alone

I'm never alone

There's something watching me.

It gets closer as my back is turned

I look and it's gone. Disappeared, you see.

It follows me, taunts me

It's scary and it knows it.

The more scared I am the more real it gets

If I don't think about it, it doesn't scare me one bit.

But I can't help but think about it

And that's the danger of being alone

You'll drive yourself crazy

That's the danger of the unknown
