God’s indwelling in man’s spirit

will sanctify and separate.

Every part of that man’s life

will function in God’s strength.

That is what it takes to overcome

and then disintegrate

the tendencies of the old nature

that will go to any length.

 

For the soul to be brought to the point

to be in subjection to the spirit

with all that it contains to be

aligned with God, Himself.

What an opportunity

to be cleansed in every area

in thought, feeling and idea

affection and desire.

 

To be renewed and purified

in will and in longing.

Having dreams and opinions

in spirit magnified.

What a way to be transformed

in the likeness of our Savior.

To become a living epistle

to be read and tried.

 

The physical that draws its power

from weariness and pain.

It will point the will into directions

of comfort, peace and rest.

It will choose its power

to fill one’s own desire,

as it can topple the spirit

and that at its best.
