"My Watch"

I see my watch tick.

Each second a moment missed.

Each second a memory gone.

Each second a lifetime.

Time is fleeting.

The seconds are counting.

Life is slipping.

Hearts are beating.

My hands are wrinkled with age.

Movements slow with the time.

My chance has gone.

My dreams have died.

Touch your sky.

Break your limits.

Take your chances.

Make your dreams.

I never did,

With a broken body,

With a broken dream,

And with a broken watch.

This poem is about:
My family
My community
