My War

There are no rules to the fight I fight.

There are some things the battle seems to want me to know.

Trust no one, not even yourself.

When people say they are there - don't ask for their help.

Light isn't brilliant without the dark.

People are wrong when they say life is an amusement park.

Shadows are cold only in contrast to the sun.

The best tactic in war is to run.

It is civil, it is total, and everything in between

I am tired, I am hungry, I camouflage to the green.

When life was hard before I'd imagine it alone.

And here I am pretending, with my heart as heavy as a stone.
