My Teddy Bear

Location

Suffocating my teddy bear, making sure he can't breathe. My own heart doesn't believe in relief of pain. I lie here going insane because the one I love is gone. Shot down, undone by the impossible, unstoppable hatred of myself. The mirror screams and cracks, others just laugh at this mess of unwantedness. Tears streaming, and the night seeming it would last a life time. Losing my prime, my rhyme. Words slipping off my tongue and skipping the beat. Nothing making sense as the suspense of this torment just sits in my closet while fear sleeps under the bed. Dread is the pillow I rest on as the pests of suicide haunt my lied sanctuary of a once happy place. But tonight I face a loss unfair. The death of my own teddy bear.
