First came the rumble
Then there came the pain.
Something said I had to eat before I go insane.
Now seeing how my hunger has led me to the kitchen,
I've mentally prepared for the sweetest exhibition.
Valley of the checkered tiles, forest of legs.
From the chairs to the table, people passing on the reg.
A mountain for a counter and a canyon of shelves.
I kinda thought fuck it! I'll get somebody else.
But man that aroma of peanutty perfection,
I could even see the lid all I need is elevation.
So I called out to me padre, said dad I need assistance.
My treasured peanut butter is way out of my distance.
Then as he arose I flew right to the table.
Exhilaration so high it felt like it could be fatal.
He stretched to the top of the shelves and brought it down.
I could not wait to taste it on my titillated tongue.
But then he made a face and I'm like dad what's wrong?
He said sorry baby girl, looks like its all gone.
