My Soldier

My Soldier

Thunder nor lightning could timber this tree

With love we agreed above and beyon’

Thou holds tights as if him and I could be

Together through stars that we gaze upon

Oh, the great land is like a heartbreaking knife

With blazing pain pouring out to the Earth

Torturing these hearts to the ends of our life

Hopeful thoughts screaming out knowing the worth

That this love, this beauty be there for him

Tender kisses with pink warmth oh so grand

In battle suffers with his eyes not grim

Eager for the soon touch of my love’s hand

Together, his and my world will stay true

Wait and wait is what I shall do for you
