My Smile Is A Cover

My smile is a cover, a cover to hide the deep pains in my soul.

You look at me and say you're to young to know pain, but guess what baby I know pain

Being surround by a pack of wolves hitting me with their painful words as if I'm not a human being who has feelings

Layin on a bed saying no no stop no and a guy you thought you could trust keeps goin like you said yes

Another guy left prints on my body like he was making a masterpiece but all he was doin was givin me pain.

All the cuts, shots, hurts my heart has been through cuz of soo many heartbreaks

Now you say how do you keep that smile on your face

Ha, baby this smile is cause of God wakin me up everyday to hear the birds sing new tunes in my ear as the wind blows by with secrets to share.

And at night the beautiful sunset on the horizon lets me know anotha day is over.

The sight of nature lets me know everything is goin to be alright

so I smile to fool the eyes of you

My smile is a cover of my pain
