My Savior

Sometimes you reach a point in your life where you realize you are missing something.

You have a hole in your heart, and your mind pulses sadness.

You want to give up on everything, feeling defeated.

What can help? What can get you to break through the walls of pure horror?

A savior.

A blue-eyed, fluffy, orange savior.

Animals have the ability to help a human survive, even when they think they cannot any longer.

They radiate a love unlike any other, allowing you to feel like you are worth something.

They bless you with happiness and determination.

Who is my savior? The one who has saved me from the darkness, and allowed me live again?

The one who I would bring with me anywhere, to help me get through?

My cat, Chai.
