My prison

Dayton is the prison,

It makes me bitter each season.

My people walk around like they're born without reason.

The west side is filled with gunshots quickly,

A conniving man dressed in a black cloth collects the fallen souls swiftly.

I walk around watching murderous events on repeat,

I pray to god that I'm not next with a tag hanging from my feet.

My friends.... see they think different from me.

No matter how much I beg and plead their minds refuse to be set free.

Their lives are on the street,

The benefits they receive They believe are too sweet.

How long will it take until the benefits are bittersweet?

I don't want to be here when its about to meet.

I've been on good behavior

I think it's time Dayton did me a favor.

Let me free and be apart of society

Getting out of this prison has become my priority.
