My lover’s eyes are blue.

Yet, Amidst their glistening scene

That shimmering ocean hue

Is dotted with island’s green.

Therein lie worlds unseen

By me and you.

But when the sun peeks through it’s screen

I catch a glimpse, a fleeting view

Of that place. I dream of returning to

That world though I’ve seldom been.

Of radiance awaiting me

behind her eyes misty sea.
