My Love Affair

They say we should stop meeting like this. In the bright light of your face amongst the beautiful stars. Your glowing smile puts me truly at ease and just calms my body completely. They say it’s wrong, that I shouldn’t be doing this. I shouldn’t meet you in the dead of night but it isn’t my entire fault, you keep coming back. You wait outside my window quietly waiting for me to make my way outside to see you. When I do leave my bed, to look into your beautiful eyes, I know the choice I made was right. This isn’t wrong and I don’t feel guilty because it’s right. I know it’s right and as I leave your complete warmth I know I will continue my love affair.
