MY LIFE

frozen meals in the microwave,

smelling all the rich smells of food you crave,

thinking of the nice people that always had something they gave,

thinking of the grandpa that was just buried in his grave,

counting every penny you got,

hoping you finally got a lot,

for dinner buying a small bag of chips for a family of four,

knowing you don't got anymore,

sending the kids off to school,

backpacks on their backs a penicl and notebook inside,

without internet or extra help it leaves one of the kids  feeling like a fool,

from proverty and lack of help there's nowhere to hide,

when the kids miss the bus,

the mama says baby it's okay,

the mama on crutches with her hurt legs,

she walks them three miles to school,

two of the kids with their speech problems,

everyday at school the little girl gets bullied,

everyday and night she says, "Mama I hate school",

nothing you can do but send her back and on her way to school each day
